 BUILDING COMPLIANCE

We provide Building Regulations part-L (SAP and SBEM) and Energy Performance Certificates for Commercial and Domestic projects of any size.

We deliver cost effective Overheating Studies (TM52 and TM59), Daylighting, BREEAM and many other reports for building design and construction teams.

BUILDING REGULATIONS PART - L

SAP or SBEM assessments check the energy performance of a building design against part L of the building regulations.

We assess the building geometry, fabric, and services (HVAC, lighting and hot water) for compliance with the limits in the regulations, and for their effect on overall building emissions.

We specialise in working on complex designs, and those projects with very tight emissions targets for BREEAM or London Plan compliance.

ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATES

We are experts in the calculation of Energy Performance Certificates for commercial buildings.

We provide EPCs for all buildings (EPC levels 3, 4 and 5) in an accurate and cost effective package.

Our "Complete Compliance" EPC packages offer the simplest route to help landlords comply with the 2018 EPC minimum energy efficiency standards (MEES).

OVERHEATING

Most planning authorities now require a building design to be assessed for thermal comfort.

The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) provides two standards to assess overheating risk:

- TM52 provides guidance and criteria for preventing overheating in commercial buildings.

- TM59 provides a specific methodology and criteria for use in dwellings.

ClarendonDSM provide expert overheating studies to comply with either TM52 or TM59, complete with full support for building designers to achieve compliance.
